First Sighting!
Posted in Life on Thursday, October 13th, 2005Today took me by surprise…I was walking into my friendly video rental store, Randy’s MMs, and I had my first fan say hello (ok, so fan might be too strong of a word, but whatever). He says ‘Hi’ (and then this is where it gets good); ‘I went to your website…I didn’t yawn.’ So I guess the only thing I could say back to that was what I said…’Ohh, I’ll get you next time.’ And that was it, and how I loved it. So if you ever see me around, say hello, I’ll be nice!

I saw your “don’t yawn game” site profiled on HOT TOPICS tv show & decided to stop by. You are hilarious & entertaining! This is actually the first blog I have read that I will visit again. It’s not that I agree with anything you say, it’s just that you are a trip(if I may betray my age by saying “trip”). Also, the visual layout of your site is a pleasant, aesthetically nice change from the usual blogs.
Catherine, I love you too. And it doesn’t matter how old you are, wear that shirt that shows your mid-drift, the guys will love it and the women will hate it. NO, just kidding. You are very kind to say all those nice things, my husband (the webdesigner) and myself (the author and yawner) appreciate it. And what is this Hot Topics show you speak of?
Hot Topics is a half-hour tv show similar to Inside Edition or Entertainment Tonight. I usually catch it while channel surfing late at night. It is syndicated, so no telling what channel it plays on in your neck of the woods. Anyway, the show suggests fun or informative websites to visit, and your’s was one featured. I think it even showed a picture of you yawning. I am surprised your site didn’t crash from all the visitors after the show aired.
